Re: Rickter Scale Show 154 - BOC

I too got reference. I am not sure if I should be insulted or not, with Vax's comment. Some of us just don't want to sit at the big people table. So we keep on listening too rock n roll and prog and in my case some classical too. Life is too short to take yourself too serious. There is always room for variety and change. No matter how old you are.

Yeah, me too. Pulled out some Climax Blues Band from the used cd bin the other day to catch up with them. What a Waynes World Dream sequence that was.

I'm so sorry. I didn't know that I was require to like everything. I will amend my ways immediately to blend in with the plain vanilla of the masses. Hereto forthwith, I will listen to more metal, more grunge, more RAP, more country, more pop, more hip-hop, more teeny-bop, more R&B, more soul and more sonic droll. Sheesh, how dare I have an opinion that I dislike a particular musical style. I forgot that being objective is more important than being subjective. I won't let it happen again.

I was thinking about having a thread just with the set list (sort of how Jim has the new additions), then a general thread about discussion. I will do this for the next show.

None of the genres mentioned above fit my show this week.

Subjectivity is always more important. Subjectivity with throwing a wet rag over everything is not.

When we last left the thread, Schup was professing his admiration for Buck, Bob was lamenting radio airplay, and poda was quoting.

Carry on please!
