Encompass and Kinetic Element in DC 1/4/08

Should have posted a while ago....Kinetic Element will be the late band at the final Encompass show at RnR Bar & Lounge in Washington DC this Friday night Jan.4th. Encompass will go on at 9pm and we will follow at 11pm or thereabouts. Encompass guitarist Farhad Hossein has been very gracious to me since I got online and started promoting my project. He has another project up his sleeve and I am sure it will be as fine as Encompass has been.
We're very excited to be in this show and we are hoping to see a big turnout from the DC Society of Art Rock there.

We also are in Richmond on Jan.12 at Capital Ale House Music Hall, 623 W.Main St. We are the opener for an excellent instrumental guitar band The Matt Koon Foundation, which play (for lack of a better term) progressive blues rock. They are excellent and have a real buzz going on in Richmond, and it's an opportunity for us to reach their audience. Matt Koon and I have been discussing playing together for six months and to be on this bill at one of Richmond's nicer music venues is a real gas.

Now comes the pleading LOL... If you are near one of these venues please come see us and these other great bands. Both have $5 admissions and both are a bargain. We will be doing "Starship Universe" live and three new pieces we have started recording, and in Washington we will probably have time for a couple of additional cover tunes from Pink Floyd, Genesis, Jethro Tull and who knows what else!
