Re: Rotherham Rocks 2009

Just noticed on the Classic Rock Society website that Quecia have split:

The end of the road for Quecia
We have heard today the sad news that Quecia have split. Sad news, since I have just discovered them and was looking forward to seeing them play with Abel Ganz and at Rotherham Rocks.

This means they will no longer be appearing supporting Abel Ganz on 7th February, and we will be seeking alternatives for their performances on that gig and on Rotherham Rocks.

Looking forward to the Rotherham Rocks 2009 festival in May . Collated the line-up through Myspace, which is great because you can all hear the great music potential of the festival. I hope you enjoy the links, meet new bands and make more friends. Hope to see you there. Drop me a line if anyone else can make it and we can share the fun and great music :

8th May
Headliner to be confirmed (I hope it is Black Bonzo - they were very interested when I discussed this with them)

No not going to the Abel Ganz gig. Quite fancy seeing Jan Akkerman at the Montgomery Hall in April though. I've been a fan of Focus and Jan since the early 70s. I was at school then honest !

Hi SK, hopefully going to the Jan Akkerman gig too. Did you see the focus gig last year at the CRS? Drp me a line if you are going to any CRS gigs and we may get the chance to meet up. eloy1964
