Re: PFM Nearfest 09 Setlist?
Out of curiosity, what track were you looking for?

Re: PFM Nearfest 09 Setlist?
I'll make some corrections. Whoever created this list knows the Italian language but not the correct titles of the tracks off of the exceptional 2006 release Stati Di Immaginazione. By checking http://www.pfmpfm.it, the band references this show as playing off of the Stati Di Immaginazione tour. In addition to this format, they are supporting in concert their new hommage live CD to their now deceased friend Fabrizio De Andre, and on occasion the Dracula Opera Rock. There is one track off the 1979 De Andre' double live album. We all can be a little greedy and I for one would have liked to see one or two tracks off the marvelous Dracula Opera Rock CD.
P.S. Most of this music is available in the AuralMoon library thanks to the meticulous attention of Jim Brennan. Code:

Re: PFM Nearfest 09 Setlist?
I haven't gotten that far yet. PFM is new to me, but I enjoyed their performance immensely, and the drumming by Franz Di Cioccio was imaginative and, of course, energetic. There's a particular piece where he used the hi-hat for the (first of two) backbeats and obtained an echo effect with nice footwork. As a long-time drummer (and bassist) I would like to find this track to hear it again (and again...). When I got home on Monday I went right to the kit and tried to "capture the groove" but that would be so much easier with the music. Since I haven't hit the lottery, I can't just go buy all the CDs!
