Not being an ELP fan, I was in no hurry to read that article, so I just now read it. It feels fake. It feels like a joke to me. If it is real, then the quotes have to be sarcastic. There's no way they were really influenced by the Taliban. Seems like a piece from The Onion.

It did seem a little wierd to me. Why would those guy's find a connection with somthing like that? Could do more to alienate than attract.

I agree - after reading the article this may be another practical joke on all of us. The excuse that "the Taliban made me do it" seems off color. But then these guys have never been one for "coloring in the lines".

I think it would be great to hear these guys a gain..but I am not holding my breath just yet.
