FYI...

I will setup SAM to replay SATURDAY evening's Gagliarchives because the replay has, traditionally, been that of Tom's Saturday evening show. This recording will run for about 7 hours. Also to note, there are 3 days of this stuff recorded. I will be providing these recordings to Tom who will likely edit them for content that he will include in many shows to come.

I, for one, will be keeping a copy of these three particular show recordings with the artifacts of the special things remembered of my many NEARfest festival attendances.

On a personal note, I have always felt a post-festival depression when it's all over but there's always been a way to heal from that depression with the medicine of anticipation of the next year's event. Sadly, there's no healing this time. Yet another prog festival is now extinct.

Thanks to Chad and Rob for creating NEARfest. I only wish that I could say thanks for not ending it too.

Thank you Vax. You couldn't have said it any better. I'm glad we got to share the experience with all of our Aural Moon friends. I'll never forget all the good times I've had at Nearfest.

Nearfest will be missed. I too, always feel that post-festival depression, but it seems to happen around great life events. Family vacations or reunions tend to bring on that feeling after the fact.
