The Sky Moves Sideways inquiry

I'm listening to the alternate version of Porcupine Tree's The Sky Moves Sideways and I was just curious to see if anyone else prefers this version over the other one. I think that it has more diversity in mood and texture.

I like both versions. The differences between the two are very subtle, at least to these ears. Since you prefer the demo, which by definition is unedited like a draft copy of a piece of writing, maybe your tastes gravitate towards the rough and under-produced.
