The King of blues will live on in the music of all who heard him.

I gave him a small tribute at the end of this week's COTM and oddly enough it was one that included David Gilmour sharing the lead.

Building on what Mailotron said... most of us like jazz to one degree of another. The basis of Jazz grew out of the blues. Fortunately BB King left behind an amazing discography for us all to enjoy. The lose, however, is still huge.
