Arrow General Fuzz - Prog or Not?

Hello all,

I recently found General Fuzz in the wwweb. www.generalfuzz.net offers four albums, free to download, with high bitrate.

Do you think this is prog music?

Ciao,
Andreas

Ciao,
Andreas
I followed your link and saw the myspace, where the first friend link was to Echoes radio in Philadelphia PA. I was listening to Echoes about midnight on my way home last night. It's semi-ambient, soundscapes sort of programming, sometimes world, some jazz.

I didn't listen to much of the Fuzz, but it seems to be in that vein. I'm certain there's some of this type on the Moon.

As for "is it prog"...you all know how I feel about this question. The question is Andreas, what do you think?

Re: General Fuzz - Prog or Not?

I have listened to some pieces from the so-called "Ambient" genre, that were just some long tones, nearly no melodies could be recognized. And from this point I would say - Progressive Ambient :-)
The rhythmical variety, the sections that remind me of jazz-like Caravan music - this makes me think of "Prog".
