The Fusion Reactor #186 - Flying Music
It struck me the other day how many proggers are obsessed with the idea of flying. This is only scratching the surface here, and I didn't play too many long songs so I could fit in a bunch of "flying" songs.
Fly Like An Eagle - Hunter, Charlie 4:31 To Fly Over The Rainbow - Fiorletta, Simone 5:05 Fear Of Flying - Skolnick, Alex 5:12 Flying In A Blue Dream - Satriani, Joe 5:24 Flying Saucer Dudes - Fleck, Béla & the Flecktones 4:51 Fly - Gungor, Michael 4:27 Learning to Fly - Emerson, Lake & Powell 3:51 Fly On A Windshield - Genesis 4:23 Fylingdale Flyer - Jethro Tull 4:36 Flyin' High - Gong 5:49 Flying High (Live) - Eloy 3:31 I Can Fly - Kansas 5:22 To Fly With You - Ajalon 5:03 Fly - Mike Duncan Project 5:26 Sky Flying On Fire - Big Big Train 6:05 Time To Fly - Ferris Mudd 6:52 Fly Away - Lightspeed 7:01 The Fly-Toxmen's Land - Univers Zero 4:52 May-Fly - Underground Railroad, The 3:51 Fly - Norlander, Erik 7:54 We Will Fly - Allen, Russell 7:54 The Divine Art Of Flying - Kopecky 5:26

Re: The Fusion Reactor #186 - Flying Music
King's X has a song called Fly.....but I played that once
Fylingdale Flyer....off of "A", an example of why Jethro Tull is the best band ever. Integrating Eddie Jobson into the band and retaining the Tull sound was genius. A Kansas song from Freaks of Nature...nice. I really like the list....good picks this week. |
