I'd say any of Chicago's first seven records are much more of the AM style than BS&T. Now there's some kick ass music.
However, I don't think they're the style to be on this station either. And certainly, I wouldn't want to see a CD with some songs omitted (which is one of the very few complaints of mine of AM). |

The Moodies were part of that whole group (Queen, Styx, Yes, Kansas, etc.) that just ran out of good ideas. And like you say uzeb, the lure of $ was too strong.
Chicago was a different kind of band very blues/jazz. A combination of not being able to keep true to their form and Terry Kath shooting himself kept Chicago from keeping on. |
